wait wait wait, i'm not done yet ;). met with kay a couple of weeks ago for coffee. went to a place on melbourne street called cikolatte, which was quite good, really. kay ran a bit late, but was ok. we had a nice catch up talking about our lives since we last met, which, i guess, would be since eynesbury. we had an enjoyable coffee and chatted for what seemed like seconds, but before we knew it 2 hours had flown by. however, i wasn't too ready to call it a day yet, so we went to the anime and videogame convention that was going on at ACC. being the anime nut that i know she is, she was more than ready and willing, eager even, to go. and we were in luck as well. as we went there, 2 nice strangers gave us their pass for the convention, which was 30 bucks each. whoever you are, thanks guys. saw lots of interesting things there, and of cos, the sights to behold were the cosplayers. some really nice costumes. kay and i split up on the main hall, as i was engrossed on the videogame competitions going on ( i reckon i can compete in SSF4) and she went to look at more anime stuffs. i was just checking out a drawing an artist was completing on a drawing pad and what i assume was photoshop, when i saw kay trying on a dress (something which i don't think i was supposed to see, so it's effectively erased from my memory, except for its colour, which was white, and that is all). we then went around again and saw some anime that was showing. sat through a few episodes of azumanga daioh. i know, not something i'd really watch, but the company i had actually made it really enjoyable. next, craving ramen, we went to ajisen ramen (thanks kristen for telling me of the store in the first place (: ) for dinner. after that, that was it, and i am really looking forward to our next time together.
